A.I. energy usage

Do you know how much water A.I. uses for just 100 generated words? Try to guess. I bet you never beliieved that it actually uses 1 entire bottle of water. Now that is quite a lot! I'm guessing you're even wondering right now, what does A.I use water for and why does it need that much water? Well those are all good questions! A.I is basically a large language model invented by humans so that it could help them. A.I uses alot of energy and that energy can produce alot of heat if it is left there working for a long time. Water is basically just use for cooling that energy produced heat. Have you ever been on a computer for a long time and then felt the bottom ofo the computer. Well I'm guessing that it felt pretty hot. A.I works in a similar way.  Now to the second question. Why does A.I need that much water? A.I needs alot of water because data centers are very large and each one has a need of alot of energy to power them. Did you know that Texas itself has  around 444 data centers. That is alot! A typical mid-sized data center uses 300,000 to 500,000 gallons of water per day. In certain places in the world  many people are complaining that A.I data centers are using too much water from their countries and places that they live in, places like Texas, Arizona, and Utah.  This can be a real problem because us humans need water for our survival and the expantion of A.I is using a big chunk of it. This is how the topic connects to saltwater desalination. When we figure out saltwater desalination, we can extract the salt out and then we will have more water to do cooling for data centers. In conclution, this is why you should be careful not to use too much water and conserve resources like water.
